Brisbane 1 project tops out at 33 levels
The landmark Brisbane 1 residential project at South Brisbane has reached a major milestone with construction of the tallest tower topping out at 33 levels.
Brisbane 1 is the tallest and largest new residential development in this fast-growing and popular inner-city suburb. It consists of three separate towers connected by an expansive podium level with pool deck and outdoor entertaining areas.
R&F Property Australia opted to build all three towers concurrently, with construction partner Hutchinsons Builders making excellent progress and on track to complete the project ahead of schedule.
An informal topping out ceremony was conducted recently, including the tradition of installing a tree, after construction reached Level 33 of Tower 1.
Located on the former TAFE South Brisbane site, Brisbane 1 occupies an entire block bordered by Cordelia, Peel and Boundary Streets and provides a total of 608 new apartments with a mix of one, two and three bedroom units and exclusive penthouses.
Brisbane 1’s extensive resident amenities will include a 25-metre lagoon pool, two spas, barbecue areas, lush rooftop terraces, a gymnasium and other private entertainment and community spaces.
A ground floor retail component is also planned and expected to include a cafe and other convenient everyday services.
Residents and visitors will be greeted by an expansive lobby featuring warm timber and stone textures and floor to ceiling glass that sets the tone for the stunning glass façade that is a hallmark of the towers.
Apartments feature premium inclusions such as stone benchtops, European appliances, timber cabinetry, generous built-in wardrobes, recessed lighting and wool blend carpets together with natural colour palettes throughout.
Floor to ceiling windows in each apartment are tinted and double glazed for reduced energy costs while offering extensive natural light and maximising the river, city, mountain and suburban views in all directions.
